The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria will on Tuesday undergo their CAF organised Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) tests.
The organiser, Confederation of African Football (CAF) will conduct the MRI tests for all the 12 participating teams including Nigeria to prepare them for the championship which kicks off on Saturday. Players who passed the test are eligible to participate in the tournament.
CAF has however revealed that any team whose four players failed the test would be disbanded from participating in the biennial age-grade competition.
The five times world champions will trade tackles with Zambia on Sunday in their group opener before taking on Morocco and South Africa in other group B matches.
The top four teams in Algeria will qualify to represent Africa at the FIFA U17 World Cup finals later this year.
