His projects in sports as Governor of Lagos State helped bring positive changes to the face of sports in Nigeria after hosting major international competitions.

The aim of the meeting with the stakeholders is to find ways to upgrade sports facilities across the nation and form standard partnerships with international leagues for scouting and making Nigerian leagues world standard.

Some former Nigeria internationals confirmed his passion for sports, while some of them have benefited from the leadership of Tinubu.

The gathering would also give Nigerian legends a sense of pride to work directly with the Federal Government to help boost grassroots football development.
