Grassrunners FC player, Jude Enow Enow has won the MTN Elite Football Award for the Revelation of the Season category.
Enow, a Cameroonian national won the coveted award in far away Cameroon following his blistering performances while starring for Victoria United FC of Limbe, the club from where he joined Grassrunners.
The talented youngster has followed in the footsteps of top players who rode on such platforms before attaining stardom.
The event attracted the creme de la creme in Cameroon football including Samuel Eto’o Fils the former Cameroonian player who is the current president of the Cameroonian Football Federation.
Grassrunners CEO, Gbenga Victor Adejoye expressed delight over the recognition of Enow Enow by Africa’s biggest network provider, MTN describing it as a good development.
“The entire Grassrunners family are very happy with Jude and we rejoice with him over his remarkable achievement.
“We are proud of him and will continue to support him in his development journey.
“Please accept our congratulations”, Agbejoye wrote in a press statement made available to Grassrunners media.
The team is currently in Asaba, Delta State capital where they are participating in a scouting tournament at the Stephen Keshi Stadium.
Grassrunners is a preferred destination for top clubs seeking top talents as there are many Enow Enow’s in their ranks.
