Pep Guardiola Says He Will Not Manage Another Club After Leaving Manchester City
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that he will not manage another club after his time with the Premier League champions.
Speaking to reporters ahead of City’s Champions League match against Juventus on Wednesday, Guardiola, who joined City in 2016 and signed a two-year contract extension in November, stated he has no intention of coaching another club following his tenure at The Etihad.
“I’m not going to manage any other club after City,” Guardiola said.
“I’m not talking about the distant future, but I will not leave here to go to another club or country to do the same thing.
Maybe I could manage a national team, but that’s a different situation.”
