Ibrahim Musa Gusau, President of the Nigeria Football Federation was present as Paris played host to an unprecedented workshop on football development in Africa.
Gusau was among representatives from African member associations gathered in the French capital for a workshop on football development bolstered by FIFA President, Gianni Infantino.
Infantino set the tone in his opening speech by announcing “a new era for African football”.
An excited Gusau believes this giant step taken by the FIFA chief is aimed at further developing African football.
Among the events that took place was the presentation of official match balls to the NFF President for the forthcoming FIFA women’s World Cup to be hosted by Australia and New Zealand.
Nigeria Super Falcons will be among 32 nations that will be participating in the FIFA women’s World Cup in July.
