There is uncommon euphoria in Lagos, as the new board of Lagos State Football Association led by Hajji Gafar Liameed, has continued to receive deserving plaudits from stakeholders, particularly, for the new waves of development and growth happening in the state football community.
Speaking on the recent happenstances in Lagos football, renowned stakeholder and football investor, Samuel Omamofe Columbus, the Chief Executive Officer of Dino Sporting Club, has described the state of football development in Lagos State as awe-inspiring and deserving of praises and support for the leadership of the State FA.
“Yes, football is back and better in Lagos State. The new FA Chairman is a very good man. He is a visionary and a thoroughbred football technocrat. He has also been very instrumental to the success of my team, so far. I tell you, he’s the best thing to have happened to football, not only in Lagos State, but in the whole Nigeria.
“Hajji Gafar Liameed understands that football is business and he has steadily been creating opportunities for football investors, the stakeholders and even the thousands of hapless, but gifted male and female footballers to thrive and excel.
“Lagosians and indeed, Nigeria, are blessed to have such resourceful, intelligent, hardworking and progressive minded football administrator in the Nigeria football ecosystem,” the youthful club owner gushed in lavish praises for the Lagos FA boss.
