Haruna Doda Seeks Flying Eagles Job

Haruna Doda has applied for the vacant U-20 Flying Eagles coaching job as announced recently by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

The Malta based coach, who parades an intimidating UEFA A Elite coaching license, which is the highest coaching qualification possessed only by few coaches worldwide, is optimistic of landing the position.

“I have officially applied for the vacant Head coach position of the Flying Eagles, Doda told us exclusively.

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF recently declared the position vacant while requesting applications from qualified candidates amongst the general public and Doda says he’s the best fit for the job.

“I’m very optimistic of getting the job, in other to get the chance to replicate many of what I have been doing in the last 15 years or more in Europe back home in Nigeria.

“I have long waited for an opportunity like this to contribute my quota to youth football development in Nigeria which I’m very passionate about.

“I’m very qualified for this and I have prepared myself for many years for this chance, this is now the time for me to show what I have to offer”, he said.

Doda was a former footballer who featured for many teams both home and abroad. He played for teams like Os Belenenses, SD Santa Clara, Desportivo Aves all in Portugal, Bendel Insurance, Delta Steel Pioneers, Enugu Rangers and SAFA Sporting Club.

As a coach he worked as youth coach at Paola Hibernians Academy and Hibernians U17, Malta, leading them through holistic restructuring that raised both their grassroots and competitive football in general.

He also left his marks at MTARFA where he built strong foundation, introducing modern game philosophies and all time highest league positions.

He holds a UEFA A Elite, UEFA B, UEFA C coaching licenses.
