Henry Nwosu Responding to Treatment

An update has been provided on the health status of former Nigeria international, Henry Nwosu, who is reported to be battling with an undisclosed illness.

Speaking to FL on the condition of Nwosu, former teammate Felix Sunday, confirmed that the former Super Stars condition has improved and he’s responding well to treatment.

Nwosu’s legs are swollen, the former BBC Lions Player disclosed, however he did not specify the remote cause of the illness.

Felix Sunday also confirmed that the Delta State FA had sent representatives to the hospital to visit Henry Nwosu and even made donations to help with the bills.

He also revealed that Professional Footballers’ Association of Nigeria (PFAN), led by Tijani Babangida also visited the 1980 African Cup of Nations winner.
