After a well contested qualifier on March 7, finalists have emerged for the grand finale of the High Schools Sports Championship which holds March 21, 2026.
The event which is in its third season organizers disclosed will be held at the Caleb International School, Lekki Sports complex.
Some of the schools which have made it to the finals include
Readington American School,
The White Dove International School,
Divine Scholars
Convenant Child Academy,
Attwool School and
Dotmond School. They will be competing in five games: Table tennis, Basketball, Swimming, Football and Athletics.

The initiator of the tournament who also doubles as the Chairman/Director of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), Prince Rhemyjuz Elias while speaking on the level of competition during the qualifiers and school’s attendance, praised all participating schools for turning up while also expressing the determination and commitment by the brand sponsors, Planet bottling company, Benizoba Ltd, STEMOYEM Network, Noble Gold liquid soap and their official media partner, Lekki Sports Television to promoting sports talents from the classrooms.
“I wish to thank all the schools participating in this year’s edition of the competition which is the third edition for keeping faith with us.
“We will keep working on improving in every aspect to ensure the competition keeps getting better with each passing year.
“We thank all our sponsors for their commitment because without them this won’t be possible”, he said.
