Kelechi Iheanacho will be hoping lightning can strike twice for him when his club, Leicester City face visiting Brighton Saturday at the King Power stadium.
The Nigerian made his first and only start and scored his only Premier League goal of the season when the Foxes were hammered 5-2 at the Amex stadium last September.
The former Manchester City star will be aiming to restart his Premier League season against the Seagulls and will hope it does not turn to another false start like it happened in September when he was made a perpetual substitute thereafter and found the way to opponents goal difficult to navigate.
The 26 year old has four goal involvements in eight appearances against Brighton with six of the games and three of the goal involvements coming in the Premier League.
He has scored twice and bagged an assist in six Premier League games while his third goal was scored in Leicester City’s 1-0 defeat of the FA Cup fifth round clash at the King Power stadium in February 2021.
Iheanacho has started just once in 14 Premier League appearances so far this season and if he is subbed in again Saturday, it will not only be the 14th time in 15 games but 113th in 183 games.
