IHF Challenge Trophy: Nigeria U18 Qualify For Intercontinental Championship

Nigeria’s U18 team capped their impressive performance in the ongoing International Handball Federation challenge trophy with a ticket to represent the continent in the intercontinental championship.

The Nigeria side under the tutelage of coach Emeka Nnamani started the tournament in Congo on a sound note getting a victory against Burundi, Congo and Zambia.

They defeated Guinea narrowly in their final game on Friday with a 37-36 win and apart from having a 100 per cent record in the tournament in Congo they also secured their passage to the intercontinental competition.

The intercontinental competition is slated to take place in Ivory Coast.
