Jimmy-Jay Morgan has expressed his joy after signing a contract extension with Chelsea, the Premier League club based in west London.

The 18-year-old forward has committed to another three years with the Blues after joining from Southampton at the end of the January 2023 transfer window.

In a statement to Chelsea’s website on Wednesday, Morgan shared his excitement about prolonging his stay, saying, “I am extremely happy to extend my stay.

Who wouldn’t be? It’s Chelsea! Ever since joining the club, I have felt comfortable in the environment, which makes you confident enough to push yourself to new limits and get the best out of you.

I’m grateful and very lucky to be part of this community.”

Morgan notably emerged as the top scorer for the Under-21s, netting 16 goals across all competitions during the 2023–24 season.
