Injury Knocks Emmanuel Dennis Out Of FA Cup Action

Watford talisman Emmanuel Dennis looks set to miss Saturday’s trip to Leicester City in the English FA Cup third round with a slight knock.
SportsDayOnline.com reports that the Nigerian forward was withdrawn at half-time in their Premier League match against Tottenham Hotspur last weekend and is unlikely to be risked at the King Power Stadium.

Hornets manager Claudio Ranieri however allayed fears by saying the injury isn’t anything serious.

“Look, Emmanuel took a kick in the match against Tottenham, then I prefer to preserve him for the next matches. No, no no, it’s not too serious but I want to preserve.”

Fellow Nigerian, Oghenekaro Etebo is still recovering from a long term injury that ruled him out of the Africa Cup of Nations scheduled to start on Sunday in Cameroon.
