ITTF Singapore Smash: Quadri Ease Past World No.4 Harimoto To Reach Quarter Final

Nigeria table tennis star Aruna Quadri produced a master-class performance to reach the quarter-final of the ITTF Smash in Singapore.

Aruna worked extra hard in the qualifying round and round of 32 before he could secure a round of 16 spots.

He faced a Japanese Tomokazu Harimoto in the early hours of Thursday and secured a comfortable 3-0 win.

Aruna dominated the game from the start winning the first set 11-7, 2nd the set 13-11 before wrapping up the final set 11-7.

The quarter-final game of the Nigerian star is slated for Friday against the winner between Hugo Calderano and Darko Jorgi.
