Foremost FCT Abuja based academies, Jay 1 and Paul E, with Abia State Nationwide League One top side, Right 2 Win are amongst some of the renowned teams that have already enlisted for the fast approaching SPOCS Scouting Tournament.
The program, which will be held from November 24 – 28 is scheduled to take place at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Meanwhile, our investigations revealed that no fewer that 25 other carefully selected crack sides within Abuja and its environs will also be in attendance or participating even as more teams scramble to join the fray.
SPOCS Nigeria representative, Gbenga Agbejoye said it’s been very difficult and daunting trying to sieve through the many clubs that showed interest to ensure that only the best amongst the best is selected for the tournament.
“We are really pleased with the gargantuan number of teams that have shown interest to be part of the tournament.
“It’s to say the least very impressive and encouraging.
“However, we can’t have everyone even though we would have loved to, the truth is that only the best amongst the best can make the cut.
“Again, we have to also have a seizable number that we can manage effectively for optimum delivery.
“Even more importantly, is the fact that we have a standard which we can’t lower, instead the bar has to be heightened or raised the more”, said Agbejoye.
SPOCS is an internationally recognized and respected Sports Management Agency with the penchant of turning raw talents from the grassroots into stars, particularly of African descents.
They did it with the likes of Mo Salah, Baba Rahman, Mohammed Elneny, Adama Bojang, Victory Beniangba to name a few.
“Our pedigree is impeccable and we have a track record that speaks for itself, that is verifiable.
“When you visit our website you can learn more about us, but I can tell you for free that we are in Nigeria to leave our imprint”, Agbejoye concluded.
