JUST IN: Super Falcons Pip Cameroon In WAFCON 2022 Quarter-finals, Qualify For 2023 Women’s World Cup

Nigeria have qualified for the semi-final of the ongoing Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

The Super Falcons saw off Cameroon 1-0 in a keenly contested encounter on Thursday night.

Rasheedat Ajibade headed in the only goal of the game in the second half, to ensure Randy Waldrum’s women made it into the final four.

Nigeria will now take on Morocco for a play in the final.

The hosts saw off Botswana 2-1 yesterday to book their spot.

Morocco, Nigeria and Zambia have all qualified to represent Africa at the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2023.
