Local journalist Sasha Tavolieri is reporting Kante is keen to buy third division Virton.

The 32-year-old Frenchman has already visited the club’s facilities and made a satisfactory offer to current team owner Flavio Becca.

Kante is making his move amid completing a transfer to Al-Ittihad.

He has passed the first-half of his medical with the Saudis in London, with everything on track for Kante to join Al-Ittihad when he comes off contract at Chelsea this month.
