Kante in talks to become owner of Belgian club Virton

Departing Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante is in talks to become the owner of the Belgian club RE Virton.

Local journalist Sasha Tavolieri is reporting Kante is keen to buy third division Virton.

The 32-year-old Frenchman has already visited the club’s facilities and made a satisfactory offer to current team owner Flavio Becca.

Kante is making his move amid completing a transfer to Al-Ittihad.

He has passed the first-half of his medical with the Saudis in London, with everything on track for Kante to join Al-Ittihad when he comes off contract at Chelsea this month.
