Kenneth Omeruo Targets second AFCON Title

Super eagles and CD Leganes FC of Spain Kenneth Omeruo has said winning the 33rd edition of African Cup of Nation is the only thing on his mind as team ready to battle Egypt at Roumbe Adjo Stadium on Tuesday.

Omeruo who was part of late Steven Keshi squad that won the title for Nigeria after beating Bukinafaso 1-0  in South Africa in 2013.

Former AFCON title winner told SportsDayonline.com in Garoua that ,” It a dream of every player to keep winning title for his himself and his country at large.

“We are here to take part in the AFCON not just participating but also to make a great impact as well win the trophy and cash prize attach to it.

“Right now i do not think of any other thing on my mind but just the trophy. it will make me happier if we will win it and that will be the second time on my profile.,” Kenneth Omeruo hopes.
