Chairman of Plateau State Football Association (FA), Suleiman Kwande has thrown his weight behind the newly appointed Benedict Akwuegbu led Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN) 12-man Caretaker Committee, Plateau State chapter.
Kwande made this disclosure during a courtesy visit by the members of the PFAN Caretaker Committee to his office in Jos, assuring them of his full support.
“I’m excited and happy to receive you in my office while also pledging my full support to you and your organization.

“Whatever will bring progress and development to sports in the state you can readily count on my support and collaboration.
“I’m excited about this development and please feel free at anytime to walk into my office for any form of assistance.
“Progress can only be attained when we work together”, Kwande noted.
The former Super Eagles striker, Akwuegbu is also Consultant to the Plateau State governor, Caleb Muftwang on Sports and to the state owned team, Plateau United.
