Kwara United picks four points from two away matches, humbles MFM FC of Lagos

Harmony boy’s brightens their chances at the log table of the Nigeria Professional Football League with the first away win to bring three maximum points against MFM in Lagos.

With this feat, Kwara has secured four points from are last two away matches. United picked a point from Nasarawa FC in their last match and has also recorded a successful win in today’s game.

In a chat with the team’s Technical Adviser immediately after the match, Coach Abdullahi Biffo, said “we had our game plan before the match and it has turned out as planned, we had the two goal opportunity at the first half of the game and we utilized it before they reduced the margin through a free kick which ended in 2-1
at half-time”

“I told my boys to come out stronger at them at the second half, if we can’t score any more goals in the second half, we should do all our possible best to defend the two goal advantage, since our game plan was to get three maximum points and we had the opportunity already and so be it ”

“We will now shift our attention away from today’s victory to plan ahead of our next game at home against Heartland FC. You will agree with me that the team is doing well presently with the current tachnical crew,
therefore, we need more concentration to perfect our plans ahead”
