Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappé has written his name into European football history after winning his first-ever Golden Boot — the prestigious award for the continent’s top scorer in the 2024/2025 season.
The French star capped a stellar campaign with 31 goals, amassing 62 points to finish ahead of his rivals in the final standings.

Speaking after receiving the honour, Mbappé dedicated the award to his teammates, stressing the importance of collective effort. “First, I have to thank my teammates. This year we have an incredible group. Collective awards are the most important,” he said.
The achievement carries special significance for Mbappé, coming in his first full season with Real Madrid — a dream he says he has long cherished. “Playing for Real Madrid is a dream,” he said with pride, adding that the Golden Boot complements his feat as La Liga’s top scorer.
Looking ahead, the 25-year-old striker vowed not to rest on his laurels. “I hope to win it again next year,” he declared — aiming to join Real Madrid legends Hugo Sánchez, Ronaldo Nazario, and Cristiano Ronaldo, who have all claimed the award in the club’s colours.
