Kylian Mbappé rejects Arsenal transfer request citing weather concerns

Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their hopes of securing the services of Kylian Mbappé as the player has reportedly turned down a request from a fan to join the club.

Mbappé is expected to leave PSG at the end of his contract in the summer and numerous top clubs, including Real Madrid and Liverpool, have been linked with him.

During a chance encounter with a young Arsenal fan, Mbappé was asked to consider playing for the Gunners, to which he replied that he wouldn’t because of the cold weather in England.

“Arsenal? Ah there’s no way, there’s no way. It’s too cold there,” the France captain said.
