Lagos Agog For MS 12 U-13 Super League

No fewer than 12 notable U-13 teams will light up the city of Lagos beginning from Saturday, July 15, 2023, as they trade tackles in the inaugural edition of MS 12 U-13 Super League championship.

The initiative, which is the brainchild of Mondial Sports 12, is aimed at discovering young talents via giving them a platform to express themselves.

The 12 teams that will participate in the competition are: FC Bethel Sporting 1, FC Bethel Sporting 11, B-Unit FA, Strong Dove FA, Right Choice FA, Soccer City FA, Mighty Touch FA, Wazbak Int’l Sports Academy, Varsity FA, Phoenix FA, Sunshine FA, leap Soccer Academy Int’l.

The league matches according to organizers will take place at Maracana mini stadium, Ijora Oloye.

A spoke person of the organizers Nathaniel Olagunju, said the competition is going to be one of a kind.

“Everything is set for us to have a hitch-free tournament.

I can assure you that it’s going to be a competition to remember.

“You know our focus has always harped on youth development and this is just another avenue to do that.

“It’s U-13, so we are going to be very strict on age cheat and even measure kids to ensure strict compliance.

“About 12 teams are going to partake in this maiden edition but we hope to even get better as the years roll by”, he assured.

The competition will be held on an annual basis.
