LaLiga: He wants to feel important – Ancelotti names Real Madrid angry with him

Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that forward, Marco Asensio is angry with him over his lack of playing opportunity.

The Spain International was an unused substitute as Real Madrid beat Mallorca 4-1 in La Liga on Sunday.

The forward reacted explosively when it was clear Ancelotti was not ready to sub him onto the pitch in the second half.

He threw his bottle to the ground and kicked the turf in disgust.

Addressing the press after the game the manager was asked about the situation, and the former Chelsea boss told reporters, “Yes he [Asensio] is angry and I agree with him. It’s normal, it means he wants to play, to feel important.

“In this period he has been the most affected player in the squad and I take that into account. I totally agree with his anger, nothing happens.”
