Real Madrid will be without captain Karim Benzema for the visit of Barcelona on Sunday.
The France striker has picked up a calf injury and will sit out the El Clasico.
Benzema was hurt after scoring a brace in their 3-0 win at Mallorca on Monday.
The 34-year-old was unable to train with his Madrid teammates on Saturday in their last session before the high-profile fixture.
Benzema is currently LaLigaโs top scorer with 22 goals and has provided 11 assists.
His absence will be a blow for Madrid as they look to close in on the title.
โWe never take risks. Tomorrow [Benzema] canโt play because he hasnโt trained, he feels some discomfort.
โItโs a small injuryโฆ [Gareth Bale] is one of the alternatives. We have Mariano [Diaz], we have [Luka] Jovic, Iโve played Isco and Rodrygo there too. There are a lot of options.
โKarim is 34 years old, it can happen. It doesnโt worry me, we have two weeks now to work with him. We have time to get him ready for the end of the season,โ Ancelotti said on Saturday.
