Frank Lampard is inching closer to being officially unveiled as Everton manager after the Chelsea hero has reportedly ‘signed his contract to be the next Toffees boss.
Lampard has been spotted alongside his agents Leon Angel and Frank Trimboli, as reported by the Telegraph.
The Chelsea legend has been out of management for a year after being sacked by the Blues last January.
Lampard impressed Toffees owner Farhad Moshiri in his second interview and should be in charge in time for next Saturday’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Brentford.
Vitor Pereira had been the favourite to take over, but Everton fans were strongly in favour of Lampard being appointed over the Portuguese coach.
