Ligue 1: Moffi resumes training at Lorient after ankle injury

Date:

Terem Moffi will resume training with Ligue 1 club, Lorient FC today after he suffered an ankle injury recently.

The Super Eagles forward sprained his ankle in Lorient’s clash against Stade de Reims last week.

The 23-year-old missed Sunday’s 2-2 draw against Troyes as a result of the setback.

“Rehab has been going well and I should start individual training today and see how I feel,” Moffi told SCORENigeria.

“Hopefully I will be back soon.”

Moffi is now expected to return to action against champions, Paris Saint-Germain on November 6.

The striker has scored eight goals in 11 league appearances for his club.
