Nigeria winger Moses Simon is facing a new injury concern as the new season approaches.
Simon, who missed the remainder of last season after injuring himself on international duty in March, has impressed in pre-season, scoring twice in two games.
The 28-year-old netted the decisive goal in Nantes’ 2-1 win over Laval on Saturday night.

However, Nantes manager Antoine Kombouare has revealed that Simon is now dealing with an ankle issue.
“I’m disappointed that Moses Simon is struggling with his ankle,” Kombouare said after the match against Laval.
