Lingard left Old Trafford at the end of the 21/22 season and ended up signing for Nottingham Forest.
During his time with the Red Devils, Lingard made a total of 232 appearances across all competitions, scoring 35 goals including the winner in the FA Cup final against Crystal Palace back in 2016.
At the end of the 23/24 campaign, Lingard left Forest upon the expiration of his contract.
In February, it was confirmed that Lingard had signed for South Korean side FC Seoul.
Speaking at his official unveiling, the Englishman said: “I’m really excited, it’s a new challenge but I’ve accepted it.
“I’m here, I’m ready to embrace the culture. It’s a new beginning for me, a new chapter in my career.”
Lingard added: “I just want to enjoy playing football again and putting a smile on people’s faces and showing the Korean fans what I can do.
“The commitment shown by Seoul showed their interest and how much they wanted me and I wanted to repay that by going to the club.”
According to a report by Korea JoongAng Daily, Lingard has become the K League’s highest-paid player
It is believed that the midfielder will earn around 1.55 billion won per year, which equates to around $1.15 million.

Lingard is also the seventh Englishman to play in the K League, following the likes of Jordan Mutch, Richard Offiong, Chris Marsden, Andy Cooke, Jamie Cureton and Dalian Atkinson. However, his debut for FC Seoul did not go to plan.
The former United man was brought on with 13 minutes left to play and ended up being shown a yellow card after a mistimed challenge.
FC Seoul ended up losing 2-0 to league leaders Gwangju.
