Lionel Messi will continue his hunt for his 4th Champions League title next season after Bayern Munich dumped Paris Saint-Germain out in the Round of 16 after a 3-0 aggregate win on Wednesday.
The Argentine superstar has won three Champions League titles (2009, 2011, and 2015) all with Barcelona, contrary to the general public claim of four titles.
According to UEFA the title he won with Barcelona in 2006 was not counted for him as he was not part of their squad for the final.
Since 2015, Lionel Messi’s chase for his 4th Champions League title has hit a brick wall, in fact, he has been eliminated in the Round of 16 games three times in a row in his last attempts.
