Liverpool Reject Reports They’ve Agreed £17m Deal For Omur

Liverpool have rejected Turkish reports that they have agreed a £17million deal to sign Trabzonspor star Abdulkadir Omur, according to the Liverpool Echo .

It had been claimed that the Reds had “shook hands” on a deal which would see the 19-year-old ‘Turkish Messi’ move to Anfield in the summer.

The report even stated that Trabzonspor had asked Liverpool to keep the announcement of the deal secret as they didn’t want the news to upset the club’s supporters.

But the Echo say that the Reds have stated that no discussions over a move for the teenager have taken place, and that Omur isn’t on Liverpool’s list of transfer targets for the summer.

Lazar Markovic could leave Liverpool this month

Liverpool outcast Lazar Markovic could leave Anfield this January with several clubs keen on his signature.

The £20million flop is out of contract at the end of the season and the Reds are keen to recoup some of the fee paid to sign him.

Rodriguez wants Bayern exit

Arsenal transfer target James Rodriguez looks set to depart Bayern Munich – but not until the end of the season.

The Colombian star is in the second season of an uninspiring loan stint at the Allianz Arena and has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal this January.

Reports suggested the Gunners could look to take on Rodriguez for the remainder of the season by paying the rest of the loan fee due to parent club Real Madrid .

According to Marca, a January move is unlikely but Rodriguez has made it clear he wants to leave Bayern at the end of the season.

Bournemouth Interested In Drinkwater

Bournemouth are interested in a loan move for Chelsea man Danny Drinkwater.

The former Leicester City midfielder has never really established himself at Stamford Bridge and the Daily Mail say Cherries could offer him a Premier League lifeline.

He has also been attracting interested from Fenerbahce, who have just secured Blues team-mate Victor Moses on loan.

Gueye asks to leave Everton

Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye has asked to leave Everton, according to Sky Sports News .

The Senegal international was the subject of a £21.5m bid from Paris Saint-Germain which was rejected by the Toffees.

But he’s now begged them not to deny him the chance to join one of Europe’s top clubs as they look to get a deal over the line before the January transfer window closes.

Gueye has stopped short of submitting an official transfer request but is understood to have made his feelings clear in a letter to club officials.

Everton are now bracing themselves for an improved bid from the Ligue 1 giants as they try to hold on to their man.

Man City ‘Agree £11m Fee’ To Sell Matondo

Winger Rabbi Matondo seems set to become the latest young British footballer to head to the Bundesliga after Manchester City reportedly agreed a fee in excess of £11million to sell him to Schalke this month.

Matondo, 18, won his first senior Wales cap in a 1-0 friendly defeat to Albania in November, and his contract at City will run out at the end of next season.

That has created a stir amongst several clubs across Europe, but Schalke appear to have won the race for his signature according to The Telegraph.

Borussia Monchengladbach, RB Leipzig and Hoffenheim are all credited with an interest in Matondo, with AC Milan also making a late attempt to sign him.

Rafa Benitez In shock Admission About Newcastle future

And in an explosive series of answers, the United chief also REFUSED to give reasons why any Geordie fans should fork out on a season ticket for next season.

The Spaniard’s admission will rock the club, and annoy owner Mike Ashley, who fans will renew protests against at St James’s Park on Tuesday.
