Liverpool vs Chelsea: ‘I don’t hold grudges’ – Joe Cole picks side

Former Chelsea and Liverpool star, Joe Cole has opened up on who he will support when both teams clash in Wednesday’s Premier League tie at Anfield.

Cole, who represented both clubs between 2003 and 2013, said he would support Chelsea.

Speaking to Echo ahead of the match, the former England international said, “I’m a Chelsea fan and I will be supporting [them] on Wednesday night.

“But I don’t hold any grudges with Liverpool. I have always liked the people and the club, it was just the wrong time for both of us.

“I know that people pick it up and it gets sensationalised, but I regret it because it didn’t work. I’m sure both parties regret it.”

The kick-off time for the match is 9:15 pm.
