Lobi Stars Will Get Better with More Matches – Amokachi

Date:

Lobi Stars head coach Daniel Amokachi has emphasized that his team will keep striving for improvement despite a slow start to the 2024-25 season.

The Makurdi club secured their first away point of the season with a 1-1 draw against Niger Tornadoes at the Bako Kontagora Memorial Stadium in Minna on Sunday.

Ossy Martins put Lobi Stars ahead around the hour mark, but Emmanuel Olawale equalized for the hosts in the 90th minute.

Amokachi expressed his satisfaction with the players’ performance during the match.

“I’m very impressed with what I saw; it’s a process, and we’ll get it right soon.” Amokachi stated in a post-match interview.

Lobi Stars will battle with El-Kanemi Warriors in a matchday seven fixture in Lafia in midweek.
