Ademola Lookman has been recognized as one of the top 10 performers in Serie A during the first ten rounds of the 2024/25 season, thanks to his consistently excellent displays for Atalanta.
According to a report by Fantacalcio, cited by Football Italia on Friday, Lookman ranks 6th with an average rating of 6.64. Fiorentina’s goalkeeper David de Gea leads the list with a score of 6.86, based on average ratings from Italian sports papers for players who have made at least 50% of league appearances.
Lookman’s Atalanta teammate Mateo Retegui, currently the league’s top scorer, holds the second position with 6.75 points, while Inter Milan’s Marcus Thuram, the second-highest scorer in Serie A, comes in third with a score of 6.7.

Nico Paz (Como) 6.67, Milinkovic-Savic (Torino) 6.67, Nuno Tavares (Lazio) 6.62, Barella (Inter) 6.57, Meret (Napoli) 6.57, Christian Pulisic (Milan) 6.56, and Castellanos (Lazio) 6.56 complete the pile.
Lookman, 27, who ended up in 14th position in the Ballon d’Or rankings, has followed up on his remarkable last season’s campaign with scintillating performances this term, making seven appearances overall and accumulating 431 minutes of playing time.
He has started in six of these appearances across their 10 fixtures and been used as a substitute on one occasion.
He last featured in a league game on October 30, playing 45 minutes for Atalanta versus Monza in a 2-0 success, and has scored four Serie A goals, including a brace in their 6-1 home thumping of Verona on October 26, which is tied for the sixth most by a player in the competition, whilst he also ranks joint second for Serie A assists having set up four goals for his team-mates.
