Heartland FC newly signed hitman Victor Makalala is very excited on his first trophy of the new season won at the just ended Tico/ Ifeanyi Ekwueme Pre-season tournament played at Dan Anyiam Stadium, Sunday.
Heartland FC defeated Abia Warriors 1-0 in a oriental derby to lift the trophy in Owerri on Sunday.
speaking with SportsDayonline after the victory, Man of the match Victor Makalala said, ” I am happy winning the trophy with my teammates today.
“It wasn’t an easy game for us against Abia Warriors because they too have a good team like us that i must give to them but at the end the good side won and i am excited.
Speaking on the NPFL new season kick off, Makalala confirmed that,” With the rate hungry we the players are right now i will say we are ready to action,” He added.
