Makinde visits Adelabu, assures family of abductees’ rescue

Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, on Friday paid a sympathy visit to former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, following the abduction of his sister and her twin sons in Ibadan.

Makinde commiserated with the family and assured them that security agencies were working to secure the safe release of the victims.

The governor also pledged that those responsible for the abduction would be tracked down and brought to justice.

The visit underscores growing concern over security challenges in the state and the need for collective action to tackle criminal activities.

Family members and associates who received the governor expressed appreciation for the gesture, saying they remain hopeful that the abducted victims will soon regain their freedom unharmed.
