Former Manchester United player Mason Greenwood has officially joined Olympique Marseille, marking a significant career move post his departure from Old Trafford.
Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the news on Thursday, announcing, “Official, confirmed.
Mason Greenwood signs in as new Olympique Marseille number 10.”
Romano disclosed that the deal entails a €26m fixed fee with €5m in potential add-ons, alongside a 50% sell-on clause for Manchester United.

The transfer culminates after extensive negotiations by Marseille’s management. Romano noted, “Pablo Longoria and Mehdi Benatia worked on the deal for weeks and successfully completed it.”
Romano further revealed Marseille manager Roberto De Zerbi’s proactive approach in convincing Greenwood, mentioning, “De Zerbi called Mason almost every day during negotiations.”
