Mbappe buys football club

Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe has acquired a majority stake in the French professional football club Caen.

At just 25 years old, Mbappe, who is the highest-paid player at Real Madrid, will take control of Caen after finalizing the deal. According to Le Parisien, the France captain will invest just under €20 million to purchase the majority of shares in the club.

Pierre-Antin Capton will retain a minority share valued at €5 million.

Caen is currently competing in French Ligue 2.
