Messi scores in sixth straight game as Inter Miami reach Leagues Cup final

Lionel Messi scored his sixth goal in nine games for Inter Miami as they beat Philadelphia Union 4-1 to reach the Leagues Cup final.

Messi, Josef Martínez and Jordi Alba all found the back of the net in the first half at Subaru Park in Chester, Pennsylvania.

They will now play Nashville SC in Saturday’s final.

Nashville beat Liga MX club Monterrey 2-0 in their own semi-final clash.

Inter Miami have won every one of its games since Messi joined the club in July.

Miami also clinched a spot in the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup- a first in the team’s history, by reaching the final.
