Mfon Udoh Cites God’s Grace In His Goals’ Form

After notching his seventh goal of the season for Akwa United of Uyo in the Nigeria Professional; Football League (NPFL), the competition’s top scorer ever, Mfon Udoh says it is all through God’s grace.

NPFL observers are already talking about Udoh re-enacting the feat that saw him set the eternal highest goals scorers’ mark of 23 goals during his days with Enyimba of Aba, but the top striker is not getting carried away.

Rather than gloat over his feats in the 11 week old season, Udoh wants to stay modest and humble, as he keeps giving praise to God for having helped him come this far and keeps driving him on.

He is picking up back at the club that shot him to limelight, following a falling out with Enyimba towards the end of last season, but Udoh is defying the odds of haven been away, making it seem like he never left the Akwa Ibom State-owned club in the first place.

Udoh took to social media to celebrate his latest goal, which helped his side drew 2-2 away to Gombe United, and he simply stated: “GRACE Has Found Me….”
