Milan reach ‘verbal agreement’ with Villarreal ace Chukwueze

Date:

Milan are ready to start their mission to sign Samuel Chukwueze and will contact Villarreal to start negotiations in the coming days, reports detail.

The Rossoneri are looking to bolster Stefano Pioli’s frontline this summer and want to bring in a new right winger, capable of adding an extra layer to the attack.

Chukwueze is Milan’s top target for this, with the club believing that he has all the qualities needed to make a difference: pace, power, creativity and finishing.

As detailed by Daniele Longo of Calciomercato, Milan have already reached a verbal agreement with Chukwueze, finding common ground on both his salary and the length of the deal.

Now, the Rossoneri will make contact with Villarreal to start negotiating a deal. The Spanish side have set a €30m price tag on the 24-year-old, who has a year left on his contract.

Milan are planning to start talks with an offer of €20m, willing to raise the figures further through add-ons.
