Mobolaji Johnson Arena will be Ready for Aisha Buhari tournament, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi .

The chairman organising committee of the Aisha Buhari international competition, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi confirmed that the newly renovated Mobolaji Johnson Arena will be ready for the official opening of the tournament.

Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi who is also the Lagos state FA boss and the 1st vice president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) submitted that every required apparatus needed to host a hitchfree and befiting competition has been put in place.

“We have seen the dressing room, the terrace and others,  we’re impressed”.

The rebirth stadium is scheduled to host group A games and Akinwunmi is optimistic that Lagos will deliver a seamless organisation before, during and after the tournament.

“All things expected to make us have a successful tournament are already in place. The preparation is in earnest, the stadia for the event have been refurbished to meet the standard of event of this magnitude.

“I’m absolutely optimistic that é everything will be ready for the kick off of the tournament.”
