Moses Admits Deep Admiration For Antonio Conte

Fernebahce of Turkey winger, Victor Moses has not ruled himself out of a deal with Inter Milan of Italy, as he admits he would not mind another opportunity to once again play under his former boss, Antonio Conte, who gave him several opportunities at Chelsea.

Moses enjoyed a revival season playing as a right-wing-back under Conte at The Blues, before which he had three straight loan spells outside Stamford Bridge, such that it is not surprising he rates the Italian gaffer as the most imporant coach he has had in his career.

With Conte now expected to be signed on by Inter Milan in the coming days, speculation is rife that Moses will follow the former Chelsea gaffer to San Siro and, though the ex-Super Eagles star is not affimartive about his next move, the winger admits he admires the Italian tactician.

Moses went on to describe Conte as the most important manager he has ever worked with, because the former Italy national team manager and ex-Juventus coach left a huge mark on his career.

Prior to Conte’s arrival at Chelsea, Moses spent three successive spells out on loan at Liverpool, Stoke City and West Ham United, only for the Italian to revive the player’s career by converting him to a wing-back.

Consequently, Moses admits he will not mind playing again under the gaffer, with who he was able to win the English Premier League title in the 2016/17 season and English FA Cup in the following campaign.

Moses said to TRT World: ”I have played under a lot of managers and I’ve loved every single one of them.

“The most important one was Antonio Conte. He just came in, he changed everything.

”He is an amazing man, he totally changed my game. He gave me that fighting spirit to believe in myself and to enjoy my football same time.

”Then when he came that first season, we won the league, the following season we won the FA Cup.

”It was an amazing season for me under Antonio Conte and I’ll always respect him for that, he’s an amazing man.”
