Moses Faces Chelsea Obstacle From FIFA Threat

Chelsea winger, Victor Moses could face an obstacle in his hope of an exit from the club in January, as The Blues face a potential transfer ban by world soccer governing body.
Any thought of Moses leaving Stamford Bridge on loan or in a permanent deal would depend on if the club can buy a replacement, which would be impossible should they get a FIFA transfer ban.
Consequently, Moses will now have to carefully weigh his chances in the January window, as a loan deal outside would accord him regular playing time elsewhere, while staying put would mean working harder to put an end to his current redundant status under Maurizio Sarri.
Moses’ options are bound to be restricted with reports that FIFA have recommended that Chelsea should face a two-year transfer ban for illegally signing a number of youth players.
The London club are said to have broken transfer rules when they got the signing of Burkina Faso international, Bertrand Traore in 2014, and it resulted in a lengthy investigation into the club’s transfer dealings.
Chelsea are also alleged to ahve illegally signed as many as 14 youth prospects, and the global football governing body is now calling for the FA Cup holders to be punished after a breach transfer policy.
FIFA’s Integrity and Compliance unit want Cheslea banned from signing new players for a total of four transfer windows starting from January.
