MTN CHAMPS Continental Relays in Lagos surpasses 2,000 Registrations as countdown kicks off

With just one week to go before the second leg of MTN CHAMPS Season 3 kicks off simultaneously at the Yabatech Sports Complex and UNILAG Sports Complex, respectively, registrations for the Continental Relays in Lagos have surpassed 2,000, with even more entries expected before the deadline on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

A total of 5,177 event entries have been received from 2,057 athletes, surpassing the figures recorded in the first leg of MTN CHAMPS Season 3 in Benin. The registered athletes include 319 Cadets, 665 Youth, 512 Juniors, and 561 Seniors, with approximately 3,000 athletes expected to compete in the MTN CHAMPS Continental Relays in Lagos.

The list of registered Athletes by Age Group and Selected Events is attached below.

At least one parent or legal guardian of each participating athlete in the Cadet, Youth & Junior categories must sign the Parental Consent Form, which can be downloaded at http://mtnchamps.com and brought along for bib collection.

All Registered Schools/Athletes must pick up their competition bibs to confirm their participation no later than Tuesday 8th April at the competition venue to remain on their event startlists.

Also, all Cadet (U-14), Youth (U-17) and Junior (U-20) Athletes are to come along with a photocopy of a means of identification showing their Date of Birth, such as their Birth Certificates, International Passport or School Records. Do email admin@makingofchamps.com for any enquiries.
