Milan and Newcastle United are reportedly getting closer to an agreement for Sandro Tonali and the deal is set to exceed €80 million.

According to a report by Pietro Mazzara, Premier League side Newcastle United are just one step away from signing defensive midfielder Sandro Tonali from Milan.

Both clubs involved are set to reach an agreement within the next few days as The Magpies are expected to send a revised offer of €80 million in transfer fees. This is an increased amount to facilitate the signing after the Tyne-side club sent an offer of around €70 million plus bonuses yesterday.

The Rossoneri have a great opportunity from this sale to boost their finances as they will accept the offer as soon as it arrives. A few details regarding the figure of bonuses are still left to be negotiated and that shouldn’t take much time to conclude.

Milan have now set their sights on Fenerbahce Arda Guler and they will aim to wrap his signature quickly before other clubs enter the race.
