This was confirmed by the national team doctor, Rodrigo Lasmar, on Tuesday.
Neymar suffered a serious knee injury in October.
The 31-year-old tore his anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus during Brazil’s World Cup qualifying defeat to Uruguay and underwent surgery two weeks later.
