The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will hold their first Board meeting in 2023 in Abuja on Monday.
The President Ibrahim Gusau led board will hold their second meeting since their Election in September 2022 at an undisclosed venue tomorrow afternoon.
The meeting according to InsideGlassHouse will most likely look at the preparations of the country’s U17 and U20 male teams as they get set for major international competitions in February and April this year. The seven times African champions, Flying Eagles will start their African Nations Cup campaign against Senegal on 19th February before playing their second group game against Egypt on 22nd.
The Nigeria U23 Eagles will host the Guineans in the first leg at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan between March 20- 28 ok n the CAF U23 African Nations Cup qualifier.
Super Eagles will also be engaged in a double-header against Guinea Bissau next month, which if they win both games will already qualify them to the 2023 AFCON to be played next year in Cote d’Ivoire.
