NFF to choose between two Nigerian coaches for Super Eagles job

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has narrowed down their choice for the next head coach of the Super Eagles to two local coaches.

According to ex-media officer of the Eagles, Colin Udoh, the names are Finidi George and Emmanuel Amuneke.

Udoh also claims the appointment could be confirmed by Thursday.

He wrote on X: “Expect news on a new Super Eagles coach on or before Thursday.

“Choice appears to have narrowed to be between Finidi and Amuneke.”

Finidi was put in charge of the team for their two friendly matches during the last international break.

Nigeria beat Ghana 2-1 and lost 2-0 to Mali in those games.
